Julia M. Walk has joined DP&F as an associate specializing in Trusts and Estates and is a member of DP&F's innovative Hospitality Group. Julia comes to Napa from San Francisco where she practiced law with Baker & McKenzie's Global Equity Services group. In 2006, Julia graduated, with honors, from the Golden Gate University Tax LL.M. program where her courses focused on estate planning and administration. A native of Boise, Idaho, Julia graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Japanese. She graduated from University of San Francisco School of Law in 1998. "Julia is a welcome addition to our estates and trusts practice," said Managing Director Dave Meyers. "She brings additional expertise in tax law and the benefits gained from her experience at an excellent firm in San Francisco, Baker & McKenzie." Ms. Walk is a member of the American Bar Association, Section on Real Property, Probate and Trust Law; a member of the California State Bar, Section on Trusts and Estates; and the Napa County Bar Association.
